OH&S Manager
Lead METRIC.’s Health & Safety Program, safety team, and field safety strategy across our operations.
About You
You own the safety program.
This is a leadership role for someone who knows civil construction, understands OH&S and COR inside and out, and believes the best safety programs are built in the field - not behind a desk.
You'll lead our safety team and Health & Safety Program across the Lower Mainland, Northern BC and Alberta, working alongside Operations to keep our people safe and continuously raise the standard.

Own and continuously improve METRIC.'s Health & Safety Program. Keep us compliant, COR-ready and ahead of emerging risks.
02 — LEAD THE PEOPLE
Develop our safety team. Coach field leaders. Build trust with crews. Create accountability without losing approachability.
03 — BE IN THE FIELD
Know what's happening on our projects. Identify risk early, support higher-risk work and help teams solve problems before they become incidents.
04 — KEEP RAISING THE STANDARD
Lead training, learn from incidents and near misses, watch the trends and turn what you learn into better systems and safer work.

What We Need From You
Civil construction experience.
You understand the work, the equipment and the realities of an active project.
Technical depth.
Strong knowledge of BC OH&S legislation and COR requirements. Alberta experience is an asset.
Leadership.
You've led safety people before and know how to influence everyone from field crews to senior leadership.
Credentials.
5+ years of safety leadership experience. CSO/NCSO and CRSP. COR Internal Auditor certification required. OFA Level 1 or higher preferred.
THIS IS A FIELD LEADERSHIP ROLE.
You'll be regularly present on active projects throughout the Lower Mainland, with periodic travel to Northern BC and Alberta as required. You'll also spend time at our Chilliwack office. This isn't a work-from-home safety management position.
